Major Project: AGONY

Agony is going to be my final project that will be released in January 2019. It is a concept album about a wanderer looking for a place of happiness. While the album goes on, his name or his title keeps changing depending on his emotion. In the first songs he is referred to as Agony, the hurt or miserable, this makes sure the listener understands the feelings that the character is going through. The album ends in a more happier and positive note. Therefore his name will be more positive and happier. The main moral of the story we are trying to portray is happiness through persistence.

The album will be composed, performed and produced mainly by Sevin Fernando and myself. This will be our final project as students of SAE Dubai. The genre of the album is mainly alternative rock. Our main inspirations and references would be Twenty One Pilots, Arctic Monkeys, and PVRIS. The album will be showcased on vinyl. We wanted to make sure that we do something unique so raising money for vinyl is the way we are going.

The production of Agony will be documented through weekly posts as well as live videos on Instagram, Facebook, and many other social media platforms. We will be also posting videos of us performing the songs onto youtube.
