Jack White
In 1997 Jack White formed the band The White Stripes alongside Meg White. The White Stripes quickly rose to fame and entered the mainstream. No one would've expected that the red and white two-piece blues band would become mainstream. During the time of The White Stripes, Jack White wrote many songs that became big not only in the music industry but also sport as the track ‘Seven Nation Army’ is still chanted in most sporting events today. After the release of the album ‘The White Blood Cells’ in 2001, the band went straight to magazine covers and radio stations as their fame kept growing. Unfortunately, in 2011 The White Stripes broke up. But fortunately for Jack White, he still had his own record company ‘Third Man Records’ and multiple bands he was apart of. Jack White kept growing and expanding.
Later on, White focused on his solo career as well and released many albums with all of them becoming successful. White is known to be unique as his music always ranges from blues to rock to jazz. He also was the reason for the comeback that vinyl had. Jack White along with most of his bands still record music on tape, he would usually not use a DAW until his latest album ‘Boarding House Reach’ where he used the help of Pro Tools.
The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather are both bands that Jack White helped grow. He is the guitarist of The Raconteurs and the drummer for the Dead Weather. Third Man Records works the same way that Jack White formed both these bands. He found artists with the drive and passion and gave them the opportunity. Third Man Records is a huge gate for opportunity. Till today Jack White keeps his fans entertained with his creatively composed music as well as his amazing live performances. Jack White will always make sure that he does not disappoint.
