Social media runs a huge role in people's career today. People use it whether it's for releasing their products or marketing themselves or just posting daily chores and taking fans along with them through their day. Almost everyone is on social media today and communicating with people through apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat etc.

Artists use social media all the time to keep fans updated. So fans can know where the artists are and where they will be next. It is also a way for fans to communicate to artists so that they can answer questions and give suggestions so the fans give more support.

Through social media many television stations, radio stations, record labels, etc look through different social media accounts to find artists to play their music. Many musicians use the web to advertise themselves so they can get a chance in the industry. The best way people market themselves is constant promotion. The more frequently people post, the more views, fans and supporters come in quickly. More viewers and more fans lead to becoming viral which attracts record labels, other artists, different musical stations and many more.
