PAUL McCARTNEY

Probably the most influential musicians in history. Paul McCartney has been an inspiration from many musicians from many genres from Pop to Rock and Metal. He is well known for all his work as sing of The Beatles and throughout his solo career. His legacy will never fade away for all that he has done.

The Beatles are known and one the biggest musicians to ever live. Many of their work such as ‘Helter Skelter’, ‘Yesterday’ and ‘Hey Jude’ have built the way I make music and perform. The vocal style and guitar playing style of Paul McCartney has also influenced many of my favourite musicians like Corey Taylor (Slipknot) or Dave Ghrol (Foo Fighters).

You can read more about the great Paul McCartney in the Rolling Stones article “Paul McCartney: Yesterday and Today.” It is mostly about what makes Paul McCartney, the 70 year old Beatle still run (Hiatt,2012). The source is a primary source, this is because majority of the article are from an interview with Paul McCartney himself.

Another great book to read from is Paul McCartney: The biography. It is written by Phillip Norman who show the history as well as achievements by Paul McCartney during the Beatles as well as after. It also has many of Paul McCartney’s quotes and interviews.

Both these websites are great for reading about the man who formed todays music, Paul McCartney.
